Arrived in Beijing

Hello all. We arrived safely in Beijing and were met by Jesse Liu. She brought us to our hotel which is located inside the Beijing Normal University Campus. We had a great dinner with her - dumplings, spicy beef, and soup. We later visited with a graduate student and then got a good night's sleep. We have had our first Chinese breakfast - interesting but good. We are off to see the Summer Palace this morning.
